When your photographer sends you a Selection Request, you can easily add images directly from your gallery and send the selection back to your photographer.
1. Begin the Selection Request
Open the email from your photographer, and click to Select Photos and begin the request.
You may be asked to create an account, or log into your existing account. When logged into your account, you can view and edit your selections, create collections, and more.
After logging in, you’ll be taken to the request.
If you’re the first or only client selecting images for this request, you’ll first see the selection guidelines from the photographer visible in a popup. Click Start selecting.
If someone else has already begun selecting photos, you’ll first see the selection guidelines from the photographer visible in a popup. Click the X to close the popup and click here for the next step. You can view this popup again by clicking Guidelines in the request.
You can select photos in any Collections/Favorites you’ve already made, or click Select all if you want to choose all the images in that particular section.
You can also click the checkmark to select individual photos. When you’re ready to add them to the selection request, click Continue.
2. View and Edit the Selection Request
At any point, you can click on your Inbox in the navigation bar to view, edit, and send your selections to your photographer.
And if you’re simply browsing through the gallery, you can begin selecting images for it at any time by clicking on your Inbox, checkmarking an image, clicking Select, or from your Collections/Favorites.
Overview of the request
In your Selection Request, you’ll see the amount of images you need to choose, the deadline, any Guidelines the photographer sent to you, as well as any other participants. Every participant shares the same Selection Request, so you’ll be able to see any other images other participants add to the request.
Add and Remove Photos
To add or remove images, click + Add photos or Remove Photos.
This will open the gallery where you can checkmark to select your image choices, or uncheck to remove anyone’s selection. You can also add images from within your Collections/Favorites.
If you click Select all next to each section, that will add all images from that section to the request.
Then click Apply to update the request. Please note that you cannot undo once you apply any changes, so if you want to reset your changes, click the X instead.
3. Add comments
Your photographer may have given you the option to comment on the images in the request. You can open the comments by clicking on the chat bubble in the top right corner of the selection.
Click on an image or click Scroll to on the relevant comment to open the specific image. You can also click Reply to respond to any existing comments. The selection request is a live collaborative workspace, so if anyone else has been invited to the request, you can reply to one another and update the request in real time.
When commenting on an image, you have the option to pin your comment to a specific part of the image, or leave a general comment.
Click anywhere on the image to pin a comment.
When leaving a comment or replying, you can copy and paste any reference media in the comment if needed.
4. Complete the Selection Request
Double check that you’re satisfied with your final selection, and click Submit.
If you like, add a note to your photographer regarding the selected images, and then click Send selection. After you send the selection to the photographer, it cannot be edited or altered.
Then click Got it.
If needed, you can view your completed Selection by clicking on the Inbox in your gallery’s navigation bar.
You will not be able to edit or alter your selected images, so reach out to your photographer directly if you need to make any changes.
